David Duval exploded onto the scene of professional golf in 1995 and has become one the PGA Tour’s most consistent and dominant players.
David Duval’s 13 PGA Tour victories and many top-ten finishes is the result of the hard work, discipline and passion he has for playing the game of golf. Duval’s many achievements include winning such prestigious events as the 2001 British Open, THE TOUR Championship (1997) and The PLAYERS Championship (1999). Duval has also held the #1 Official World Golf Ranking and has been selected as a Ryder Cup team member twice. In 1999, David shot a 59 in the final round of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic to win the tournament and tie the all-time PGA record. Prior to joining the PGA Tour, Duval was a four-time first-team All-American at Georgia Tech and a two-time ACC Player of the Year. The passion for playing golf seems to run in the Duval family. David’s father, Bob, currently plays on the Senior PGA TOUR.
