Dr. Lois Frankel literally wrote the book on coaching people to succeed in businesses large and small around the globe.
Almost 20 years ago she developed her unique brand of executive coaching and forged a path that others would later follow. Combining her experience in human resources at a Fortune 10 oil company with insights and information from her Ph.D. in Psychology, Dr. Frankel founded Corporate Coaching International, headquartered in Pasadena, California. From Jakarta to Juneau she has coached people of all ages and stages of their careers to get -and keep- the jobs they want, by illuminating the personal behaviors that could secure the positions, promotions, experiences, and salaries that had previously eluded them.
Her client list reads like a who's who of multinational corporations, including Amgen, British Petroleum, McKinsey & Company, Inc., Procter & Gamble, Warner Bros., The Walt Disney Company and Goldman Sachs to name just a few of the hundreds of companies that have invited her back time and again.
Dr. Frankel's two books, Nice Girls Don't Get The Corner Office and Nice Girls Don't Get Rich are international bestsellers translated into over twenty languages worldwide and featured on the Today Show, CNN and CNBC, in the New York Times, USA Today, and in People and Time Magazines. Businessweek named Corner Office among its top ten business books of 2004 and legendary producer Robert Evans and Paramount purchased the rights to both books for a major motion picture.
See Jane Lead, urging women to step up and lead, was published in April 2007 by Warner Books.
Stop Sabotaging Your Career, published by Warner Books in early 2007, is an update and re-release of Overcoming Your Strengths: 8 Reasons Why Successful People Derail and How to Remain on Track. Based on over twenty years of coaching men and women around the world, this book focuses on the primary reasons why smart people encounter career stagnation and plateauing.
Sought-after as a public speaker for her witty, warm and practical presentations that actively engage the audience, she is among the top names of international speakers featured on Better Life Media, a cable TV channel in 10,000 hotel rooms around the globe. She is also a featured career coach on AOL.com and is heard daily on KNX1070 radio in Southern California.
Dr. Frankel is proud of her many accomplishments, but none more so than being the founder of MOSTE: Motivating Our Students Through Experience. MOSTE is a non-profit organization that for twenty years has provided mentors and scholarships to at-risk, inner-city middle school girls. She was honored with Maybelline’s Women of Achievement award for her work empowering girls through education. Although she grew up in New York, she now calls Southern California home. In rare moments off from writing, speaking, and producing, she is an avid photographer, average golfer, and energetic tennis player.
